Volunteer Action Days

We are now holding monthly volunteer action days (or just mornings, depending on the time of year and what needs doing).

These are on the 1st Saturday of every month starting at 10am (until about 12noon in winter and longer in the summer months).

Come along (for as long as you are able) and make new friends, learn more about the aims of the project and have fun whilst helping us to keep the site tidy and continue to improve it for wildlife (including humans!)

Contact us, for more info and/or to be added to our Volunteer Action Team Facebook group 🙂

Late Summer Bat Walk and Talk – 26th Sep

Another of our extremely popular bat walks and talks with expert Jill Tardivel from Kent Bat Group.

Find out more about the habits and habitats of these fascinating creatures and, using a bat detector, get the chance to listen to some of our much loved flying mammals.

All ages welcome. Please bring warm and waterproof clothes just in case. Meet by the information board on our site on St. Radigund’s St., Canterbury at 7pm. The walk will end between 8-8.30pm depending on how excited people are about hearing the bats!

£5/adult, £2/child, under 5s free. Pay on the night or via our web page.
